Get data via API in JSON and populate form 

hi

I want the user to enter the National ID number in a text box and submit the form, after submitting API will be called to fetch(get) the data from external API server (Government ID Database Server).

Once the data is fetched it has to be saved in Joget table and also shown in a form also. 

how do i do it. Can any one explain it to me.
