Hi team,

I noticed that the knowledge article for this only exists for v5 and the marketplace indicates that the plugin might not be compatible with v6. Joget Workflow SSO to Active Directory with Kerberos

Has anyone tried this - i.e. use SSO to AD with Kerberos on Joget v6?

Cheers

      Hi Eric,

I've just tried the Kerberos plugin on v6, and the SSO works similar to v5. I've copied the article into the v6 KB accordingly.

As for the role permissions, the Kerberos plugin only authenticates the user. The user roles are configured in the actual directory manager in use e.g. either the internal user directory, LDAP/Active Directory, etc.

      Best Regards
      Julian

Julian, I noticed that you wrote the Kerberos KB article, can you confirm the above? Also, this may be a basic question but in other Directory Manager configurations you can map users to roles / groups etc. and determine whether they should be an admin or normal user. How do you achieve the same thing with the Kerberos plugin or do you have to have at least AD configured in „external directory manager“ as well?

        cheers!

Anders, there is a bit of effort involved in the configuration so I thought I'd ask first since it is one of the few things that doesn't feature in the v6 Knowledge Base and the plugin on the marketplace has no tick for v6.

Hi, I believe the plugin works with v6 as well. What errors are you getting?
