Dear Forum,

I have a situation where an external application is sending messages via a service bus like Microsoft BizTalk.

Would it be possible to start a new Joget process via a REST Webservice / JSON call and directly inject the data fields ?

Or otherwise to let the external app create records into a standard form based Joget table and trigger a new process which gets it initial data from the created data record?

    Hi Joost,

    The JSON API can be used to start a new process: JSON API process start and Sample JSON API Integration

    You can directly set values into workflow variables when starting the process, and if you need to update the form data tables you could use a plugin like the Preset Form Data Tool or Form Data Update Tool
