Prompt message for over limit in Grid function

I would like to know is it possible if the form prompt the message that the user has create over the limit of the Grid function before they submit the form rather than after they submit the form as shown

      Hi, by default validation is only carried upon submission. Perhaps you could add a message using Custom HTML to inform the user, or if you really ned a message before submission then you would need to use some custom JavaScript.
