Joget DX 8 Stable Released
The stable release for Joget DX 8 is now available, with a focus on UX and Governance.
Hello Owen,
I am new to Java and not familiar with Beanshell or Deadline.
My question was if I can use the email polling system for another purpose (not a poll) since it is scanning the email for a structured wording, this can also be used for email parsing (scanning the email for an expected structured piece of information - the opposite of mail merge).
Thanks,
Oren
Hi, That Email Polling System app does indeed scan emails like what you described. The polling here means continuous checking of email http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/polling.
Hi,
Are you referring to Email Polling System app? You can check the attached app in the article on how it is works. It actually just a BeanShell script triggered by Deadline. The email parsing is using regex.
Hello,
I am new to Joget so please excuse my ignorance.
I see that the email polling system actually has similar characteristics as an email parsing feature, where i can instruct the software to look for patterns and use the information in the incoming email to then start or continue a workflow?
Does Joget offer an email mailbox that the system can monitor and retrieve emails into?
If so can I have multiple accounts to do the same?
Thanks for your help
