Joget DX 8 Stable Released
The stable release for Joget DX 8 is now available, with a focus on UX and Governance.
I found a way. You don't have to give prefix in the tables when you clone existence application. It is optional. Then a new app with different ID using the same tables created. After that you can delete the previous app!
When you create an application the base URL includes the application Id. For some reason I need this part of URL to be different. So the obvious way is to rename the Application ID. But when I go to the "Settings" of the Application the ApplicationId is not editable. I have found some older answers for previous Joget versions (I have DX8) that said you can edit it!!! Another answer is to export your app and imported with different Application ID (in practice you choose "Design New App-→Clone From Existence App"). This also prompts you to change the table names (expected and reasonable if there is already installed the same application) by adding a prefix but this has the conflict with the length of table name. Very easily it can exceed 20 characters (joget's limit) in addition to the fact that the name starts to become complicated if we consider that there is already one prefix from the first creation. It is overkill to do all this just to change the app id.
