I am looking to build a workflow system that follows a workpiece through various processes within our factory.  When the workpiece passes through a process it will go through various checks that need to be recorded on a form.  At the end of the process, the form and checks needs to be approved (digitally signed, maybe using a password or a better solution if there is one with Joget?).  Only when a piece has been authorised, passed off, digitally signed etc, will it be available at the next stage (process).

Is this all at all possible, I would really appreciate any help / assistance with this, which will give me the confidence to get started.
