Installing Joget on XAMPP and Webserver

Hello everyone,

Pardon if I missed this somewhere, but my intention is to ultimately install Joget on a colocated LAMP server so that distributed users can access the Workflow app.

To start, I have been trying to install on an XAMPP install on my local PC, but everything I have seen seems to take the Linux distributions from scratch (Installing mySQL and Tomcat). Is there a simple process for installing Joget in an environment where they are already part of the system?

Am I missing something obvious? Thanks!

        Hello Rob: I am curious as to how you managed to deploy Joget WF on XAMPP. Would you be able to provide a bit more detail as to what exactly you did. I dropped the WAR files in a directory called joget in htdocs director of an XAMPP installation and nothing and no luck. Appreciate any direction you can provide.

      Hi,

      You can just deploy the couple of WAR files (jw.war and jwdesigner.war) into your existing Tomcat webapps directory, and configure the database as per Custom Database Configuration
