We tested Joget Workflow v3 with Oracle 10g Express and, generally, it runs fine. However, if you find any issue(s), please feel free to inform the community through forum discussion.

  1. Create a database schema in Oracle; name it jwdb (or another preferred name).
  2. Download jwdb-oracle.sql and load this SQL file to "jwdb" schema. This will populate all necessary Joget Workflow table structures into "jwdb".
  3. In joget-installation-directory/wflow/, create a new datasource profile file - app_datasource-oracle.properties.
  4. Open to edit joget-installation-directory/wflow/app_datasource-oracle.properties in text editor, then insert contents as shown in Figure 1 below. You may need to edit the configurations (such as datasource URL, database user/password) according to your environment.
  5. Open to edit joget-installation-directory/wflow/app_datasource.properties in text editor, and change the content as shown in Figure 2 below. This is to activate the datasource profile named "oracle".
  6. Restart Joget Workflow server.

Figure 1: Datasource Profile Configurations

workflowUser=jwdb
workflowPassword=jwdb
workflowDriver=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
workflowUrl=jdbc\:oracle\:thin\:@hostname\:1521\:XE

Each profile contains 5 datasources. So, as shown above, each property (such as datasource URL) repeats 5 times.

You may need to change the datasource URL, database user and database user's password accordingly.
