API Builder Try It Out: Cause of TypeError: Failed to fetch

I am needing to make use of the API Builder. I have been studying the documentation and test a few examples but I am always getting the error "TypeError: Failed to fetch" as a response. The documentation seems relatively clear but I am always getting this response at the "Try it out" button when I Execute. Please advise.

      Any steps to replicate? Are you in the "preview" tab inside API Builder?

        Yes, when I get this error. But I have since tried all of the examples in the Tutorial and have never gotten a successful connection or response, I have adjusted the Whitelists, various authentication schemes, internal option, localhost, domain, numeric IP, and on and on but none have achieved a valid response. My environment is the 10 user license from AWS Marketplace on Windows Server 2019. I have no problems with browser access to Joget and in building a fairly complex application but I have never been able to get an API from the API Builder to work. I don't know what I am missing.
