You can actually see the missing item that is causing the Error to pops up.:
it mentions "Missing transition or start/end" in the red box on the last "Closed Notification" and "Rejected Notification" tools.

I was recently building a process that kept throwing a very generic "design is invalid" error. I found I hadn't put an "End" of the process after all. And I'm wondering if there is a way for some sort of log that is more verbose than a generic "Design is invalid".
