Joget DX 8 Stable Released
The stable release for Joget DX 8 is now available, with a focus on UX and Governance.
Hey there Camilo,
Yes! Certainly possible!
You can try this out. Edit your jasperreport userview menu, enable Export Option for PDF, and type in a custom ID for this userview menu (if haven't done so).
Then, access the jasperreport menu in runtime and click on the PDF icon located at the bottom right of the page. You should see a page similar to the sample image I've attached below.
Now, notice that in the red circles I've made here, you can make use of these URL parameters to show the jasperreport in PDF. As long as you can input the correct userview menu ID, userview ID, app ID, and app version number, you can access the report.
Hope this helps.
can u do a tutorial Justin? i really appreciate if u can do it.
Hello team
Related to: Rendering of Jasper Reports
We developed a report in jasper reports using the tool available in the userview. We already have the necessary interactivity to filter and query. But, on the screen when you render the report in html it looks spectacularly messy and confusing. However, when you export to pdf it looks perfectly. Question, can we do that through a link generated, for example from a list, the system leads directly to the pdf file without going through the render in html?
